Thank you — your licence key is on its way
Thank you for buying SQL DATA LENS. Everything you need is below, and none of it takes long.
1. Your licence key arrives by email
The key is sent to the address you gave at checkout as soon as the payment is approved — usually within a few minutes, along with your receipt. It is a character string in the body of the mail, not an attachment.
If it has not arrived after about half an hour, look in the spam or junk folder first. Still nothing after one working day? Write to sales@sqldatalens.com with your order number and we will resend it.
2. Activate it in the application
Activation needs no portal login and no account to create — the licence lives in the application on your machine. In SQL DATA LENS, open Help → Manage licence, press Activate, paste the key and restart. That is the whole procedure.

3. Connect to your first server
In the Server Navigator, right-click the Connections node and choose Add Server: a name, the host, the port, the driver version and your login. If IRIS or Caché is installed on the same machine, use Tools → Import Caché Connections instead and your existing server registrations are read in for you — only the password is left to type.
Then right-click a namespace, choose New query, and you are working.
4. Where to look things up

5. If anything is not right
Technical questions go to support@sqldatalens.com; anything about the order, the invoice or your VAT ID goes to sales@sqldatalens.com. Both addresses are read by the small team that builds the product, so quote your licence ID and describe what you are seeing — you will get a real answer, usually within a working day.
